Bethune-Cookman University


Bethune-Cookman University is a private HBCU in Daytona Beach, FL. B-CU academic programs are housed within eight different schools with an annual enrollment of more than 3,500 students. Bethune-Cookman University is a United Methodist Church-affiliated institution as well as a member of the United Negro College Fund.

Students can participate in a number of student life activities including student clubs and intercollegiate sports. Notably, the university is home to the Marching Wildcats, a 325-member unit that includes instrumentalists, the Sophisticats Flag Corps and the 14 Karat Gold dancers.
