Benedict College

Founded in 1870 by Bathsheba A. Benedict, Benedict University is a private HBCU located in Columbia, SC. Students have the opportunity to join a number of the college’s student organizations, including intercollegiate sports and residential and co-curricular activities. With an enrollment of over 2,100 students, Benedict College focuses on providing students with a welcoming and inclusive college experience.
